What’s going on, guys? This is Ryan here with Flagship, out front of two of our newest acquisitions. We bought two houses side by side here in LaGrange, Georgia in the Hillside neighborhood, a really cool up and coming area. Going to show you around real quick and let you know.
So we’ll start out here on the front. We’ve got a city sidewalk here and then that’s the Thread right there, which is a community project here in LaGrange that connects all the in-town neighborhoods. So it runs through a lot of the city of LaGrange, makes it super walkable throughout the city center, is a really cool project the city’s been working on.
Here is the outside of one of our houses here on Forrest Avenue. Got vinyl siding. So some stuff to do out here. We’ve got some landscaping to clean up. Obviously we’ll paint the brick a different color. I don’t love that red. Get this post fixed. May need a new mailbox there. But we’ll generally clean up the outside, but the outside’s not too bad outside of landscaping. We’ll walk over here to this other one we purchased. My plan was to take you outside and inside of both of these, but they’ve got this one plywooded up and I did not bring a drill with me so I’m not going to be able to get inside of this one today. This one’s a little bit rougher on the outside. Going to need obviously some paint, some work on the brick on the facade, fix some siding and whatnot, but this one’s actually partially redone on the inside. It needs to be finished out on the inside. So they’re kind of opposite.
This one doesn’t need as much on the inside. Needs a lot on the outside. This one needs more on the inside, not too much on the outside. So yeah. Super excited about these and their location and take it inside.
Here we are on the inside of our Forrest Avenue property. We’re going to replace these cabinets. Thought about trying to keep them, but it’s not a whole lot there. So it’s not too much to just replace them, make them look a little better. We’ll do new floors obviously throughout here, a new paint. There’s some waviness to these floors. We’ll try and level out as we go. We’ve got a laundry room here. Looks like the water heater’s relatively new, but probably some work needed there. So we’ll figure that out.
Got a lot of kind of wood panel instead of Sheetrock in here, which is fine. We’ve got some work to do here. This wood panel’s really wavy. May have to replace that before we paint it, that kind of stuff. This is the main living room. This is the front door. Then out front there you can see the Thread that runs through LaGrange. Really cool. Super excited about the location on this one. This is one of our bedrooms here. So this one is a three bedroom, one bath. We’ve got just normal bedroom, closet there.
Got a little hallway here. Got a pretty significant dip there we’ll have to address. Then this is our second bedroom. New floors, new paint, new fixtures will go in here. We’ve got a bathroom here. It’s the only bathroom in the house. That flooring’s really soft. Light doesn’t work. Right now we’ve got a big hole in the ceiling there we’ll have to address from an old roof leak. Then we’ve got our third bedroom here. This one’s going to be super cool when we’re done. Again, super pumped about the location and kind of what’s going on here in Hillside in LaGrange working DASH in LaGrange, an affordable housing group, is doing a lot of work here building new houses, building new mixed use development. So it’s a really cool area.
